Welcome.
I am proud to present the official opening of the Sanctuary of Hekate Astrodia--a project that has been in the works for nearly a year. I have been a member of the Covenant of Hekate since 2018 and began walking down the path of Torchbearer in the Covenant at the start of 2024. Through study, reflection, and community collaboration, I have achieved my Torchbearer status and am pleased to contribute further to the Hekataean community with this Sanctuary. It is currently a work in progress, so keep an eye out for this space to grow as I add more content over time.
About the Sanctuary
The Sanctuary of Hekate Astrodia is dedicated to celebrating Hekate as the guiding cosmic light in the darkness, our savior and "North Star" which we use to navigate our often-chaotic world. Though the stars always move in our night sky, we can confidently follow Hekate "Star Courser" on our journey through life.
Whether you are already a Devotee of Hekate or have been called to her for the first time, my hope is that you can take something meaningful from your visit to my Sanctuary. Here you will find resources to become more acquainted with Hekate and her epithets relevant to the stars, moon and night, as well as those epithets that highlight her guiding nature. I also hope to connect you to fabulous contributors to the Hekataean community both in and outside of the Covenant. It is also my goal to offer virtual spaces for us to gather in ritual and conversation in honor of our Goddess.
The official Sanctuary blog, Under Her Stars, is a great way to stay informed about Sanctuary-specific news, resources, and activities. I also run an Instagram page for the Sanctuary where I broadcast when the blog is updated and share other Hekate-related content. As part of my service to the community, I create free devotional zines for download, which you can find here.
I also plan to occasionally host rituals or other gathering opportunities, and these will be available to current members of the Covenant of Hekate. To learn more about the Covenant, you can explore at their website here.
